Get rid of all the stuff you don’t need. If it’s in a junk drawer, it most likely can be put in the bin. This is the perfect moment to get rid of empty batteries, broken appliances and duplicates. You don’t need 5 pairs of scissors or 10 rolls of scotch tape. Throw out all of the redundant stuff you own and you’ll notice right away your home will be much tidier.

We’ve all got a huge collection of paperwork in our homes. Some of it we need to keep, but a lot of it can be, or already has been, digitalised. Plan in an afternoon to sort out all the paperwork. Put important papers in binders and folders and throw out everything you don’t need. Old magazines can be recycled too, you’ll never read them again.

Keep up
